The Solution
UNRAVELING THE MYSTERY
For millions of people, reading is a mysterious, baffling process. A former U.S. vice-president stated that reading was “slow and torturous” for him. But reading needn't be difficult or mysterious. Written language is a code that must be learned much as mathematics is learned. The Academic Associates protocol simplifies and accelerates the decoding process and takes all the mystery out of learning to read.

FREE EVALUATION
Our free, no obligation evaluation identifies the areas in which students need improvement. The results will be explained in detail, and the individual's needs will become obvious to you. Students are treated with dignity and compassion, and never embarrassed or blamed for their difficulties.

IT IS NOT COMPLICATED
Letters stand for sounds. Say the sounds of the letters in a word in order and you automatically pronounce the word.

Sixteen letters normally make only one sound each. They are easily learned.
B D F H J K L M N P Q R T V X Z

Just ten letters make more than one sound each. Even very young students can learn the sounds for ten letters, plus the rules governing them in small, logical, sequential steps.
A E I O U C G S W Y

The sounds are then blended to form words and sentences, and all the other reading skills are developed sequentially.
